Sometimes you think the world is going to sank in a deep and painful hole, that we are going back to the times where we had no freedom, that we are losing our most basic and elemental pillars for democracy, for peace, for living.

And then something happens, and then something changes. Wikileaks revealing the world we are in Matrix, Tunisia and Egypt shouting the world they are much more mature than what media says. There is hope for muslim world today, the hope to show the rest of the world they are not that different, they are wise, mature and tolerant, they can live in democracy, with the little problems that democracy involves, but with enough tolerancy for everyone to live together.

Is it real that we are going back, or are the little victories from those who don’t like freedom like trees in our way not letting us to see the forest?

I really have the feeling that something is gonna change, that Internet has put all of us in contact, is not that media are unnecessary, but not essential, we can know now how we are, what we do, that we are not that different.

As lots of us those days, I can imagine what egyptian people are feeling, sure it is similar to spanish transition. I can sit and watch how it happens, or try to support them in some way, so I will be supporting them tomorrow in London. It may be useless, but less useless than staying at home.
